What past attendees say
"Is there ever going to be another Beacon again?"
"I'm leaving this weekend with a full tank, a clear head, and a group of people I'm already proud to be building alongside. The food, the space, the pacing, the conversations, and the quiet attention to the details all added up to something bigger than an event. It felt like a reset button for the way I want to live and work. Thank you for creating this. For holding the space, for doing it with heart, and for reminding me what happens when you slow down long enough to actually listen."
"I think I've been to about 7 or 8 weekends like this, and yours is the only one I'd go back to tomorrow. That's the highest compliment I can give."
"It was amazing, I've been thinking about it all week. I loved the pace, the setting, the people, the food, the focus time, the check ins, the mountain, the fire, the hot tub, the breakfasts, and the fact that nobody tried to sell me anything. Just overall a massive appreesh."
"Man I love this shit, I think you've nailed it. What a group of people. The fact that you can bring a bunch of strangers together and they can all connect, that's the magic."
"Alex and this community is an absolute blessing. He poured into us on a level I've never experienced before."
"Just left Peachey's place and I'm already a believer."
"My experience with Beacon #3. I initially met Alex by bumm-ing around the local coffee scene here in Austin. I was in a tough spot in my life, my business, and my finances. I was looking for a change, something to help me get my head above water, and I was willing to try anything. I had no idea what was in store for me. My gut told me to stay and chat. After speaking with him for a while, he invited me to his Beacon event and I thought "what the heck, why not?" I had never been to one of these things before and didn't know what to expect. I was skeptical, to say the least. I was skeptical of the process, the people, and the whole concept of a "goal-setting weekend." But I figured it was worth a shot. I showed up, not knowing anyone. I was a little nervous, but Alex made me feel welcome and introduced me to some people. The event was a mix of goal-setting, self-reflection, and community building. We did a lot of exercises that forced me to confront my own limitations, and the people in the room were all there for the same reason. I was amazed at how quickly we all bonded. The weekend was intense. We worked through our goals, our fears, and our limitations. I was pushed out of my comfort zone, but in a good way. I was surrounded by people who were all committed to making a change, and that energy was contagious. What surprised me most was how much I learned about myself. I came in thinking I had a clear idea of what I wanted, but the weekend forced me to dig deeper and confront the reasons why I hadn't achieved my goals. I learned that I was holding myself back, and that I was afraid of failure. I also learned that I was capable of more than I thought. I left the weekend with a new sense of purpose, a clear plan, and a group of people who were rooting for me. I'm not sure I could have done it without them. I'm grateful for the experience, and I'm grateful for Alex and the community he's built."
"What's your ideal life look like? Where's your head at? What are you building toward? These are some of the questions that Alex has posed to me in the last 24 hours, and I haven't had anyone ask these questions of me in years. We tend to drift toward minimalism when we don't take ownership of our lives. I'm grateful to have this opportunity to be challenged and to be held to a higher standard. I highly recommend coming to one of these weekends if you have the chance."
"My biggest takeaway from the workshop: a ruthless "no" to everything that doesn't move the needle. We talked a lot about focus, but this is the one that stuck with me. I've been saying yes to things out of habit, and it's been costing me."
"The 2026 planning session was an absolute game changer for me. I came in with a vague sense of what I wanted and left with a plan I could actually see myself executing. The framework is simple, but it's the accountability that makes it stick."
"Grateful for the rise, the fall, and the lessons in between. The clarity I walked away with is worth more than the ticket price."
"Saturday thanks. I spent the day thinking about the year I just had and the year I want. I came out of it with a plan, a calendar, and a group of people who are going to keep me honest."
"Just wanted to say a massive thank you for the session. I've been to a lot of these things and this was the first one where I actually left with something I could use. The framework is simple but it's the accountability that makes it work."
